Typodont jaw models help dentist to have a better understanding of tooth preparation before performing the same in patients

The dental models or typodonts are the first approach dental students take while they are doing their college preclinical internship. It allows them to capture the theoretical knowledge of anatomy, pathologies and treatments of physical form without the need of a real patient.

Used for years, they are the best tool for learning and practice, providing extra value beyond memorizing a few notes or anatomy atlas. The phantom is used next to the model, a Mannequin to imitate the patient in clinical position on the dental chair.

Inside the oral cavity of the phantom the typodont is inserted with two screws, and allows to imitate the movements and inclination so that the student is practicing the posture, rotations and proper handling on the patient.

The ZX Adult dentition Jaw Model with Anatomically shaped crowns with detailed morphology as natural teeth. The Teeth made of hard thermosetting resin cuts and feels like a natural tooth. Strong polymer Jaw base, and Soft anatomical shaped Gingiva. All 32 Teeth are retained with screws and can be replaced easily after use. The Upper & Lower Jaw come together in occlusion.
