The VR840 is a high performance aseptic liquid filler, designed with Class 100 clean rooms in mind and in conformance with current and proposed cGMPs. This model has optional overhead laminar air flow, 4-16 heads, a fill accuracy of +/- .5% and speeds up to 400 bpm on our VR840-16. Our simple two-piece filling syringes and valve assemblies are designed for sterile environments. Containers are positioned in the machine by adjustable gating fingers or an optional feedscrew drive to accommodate containers. By setting the gates for half the number of containers, the machine can be set up to double dose. The bottom-up fill, which ranges from 0 to 4-1/2”, facilitates a quick changeover.
FILLING PRINCIPLE
Containers are positioned in the machine by a set of
adjustable gating fingers. A diving nozzle system
creates bottom-up filling on a range from
0-4” (101.6mm). A drop control mechanism eliminates
a hanging drop at the completion of the fill cycle.
The gating device is adjustable for containers of
various diameters. By setting the gates for half the
number of containers, the machine can be set up to
double dose. This is useful in the event you have a
need to fill above the single dose range of the filling
syringe.
The VR840-8 is a positive displacement liquid filler,
operating on a 4” pump stroke, with a maximum pump
size of 600ml. Accuracies of +- 0.5% of fill volume
can be achieved by proper sizing of the pistons and
fill nozzles.
